UK-based JF Electrical Engineering (JFEE) has completed the installation of a 500kg Liftket chain hoist for an undisclosed client’s customer.
As part of the project, JFEE integrated the chain hoist onto an existing wall-mounted jib crane arm.
The installation was carried out on-site to ensure that the new hoist operates safely and effectively within the current lifting infrastructure.
The company said: “Proud to support our clients with quality lifting solutions, from supply and installation to ongoing service and support.”
Based in Sheffield, JFEE delivers engineering services to the overhead crane sector across the UK.
The business handles breakdown repairs, routine maintenance, detailed examinations, and installations for cranes and lifting systems.
Additional areas of expertise include building control panels, converting hoists, and upgrading equipment with wireless remote controls.
JFEE works with both industrial and commercial clients, carrying out fault diagnostics, full system upgrades, inspections, refurbishments, and providing rapid response to breakdown incidents.
The company employs engineers with experience in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and managing preventative maintenance tasks to support continuous operations.
In October this year, JFEE assembled and installed a 6.3t Guralp overhead crane for RGM Cranes, handling both mechanical and electrical aspects of the project.
The company prepared and tested the crane before delivering it to meet operational needs at the customer’s location.
In June, the company completed the installation and commissioning of a 3.2t single girder overhead crane equipped with a Planeta electric chain hoist and Guralp end carriages for another client.
